Stick with the baggie (or a variation)

Although many people here use them for gorgeous results, I'd say
stick with a bag or cone. The bottles clog easily, they hurt to use
for any period of time, and once you get used to them, it's harder to
use anything else. Cones (whether plastic, like carrot bags, or
mylar rolled cones) are easy to learn to use, comfortable, cheap to
make so you can have an applicator anytime, and if you have a clog,
you pinch the tip and the clog comes spooting right out. In
addition, the mylar are very easy to learn to use and give incredibly
precise and fine results almost immediately. And you can make or buy
them in all kinds of cool colors :)
