I tend to price a bit lower than the going rate, because I live in
Florida and the pay down here sucks. I charged $3 for a few kiddie
designs or a finger, $5 for bracelets, kanji, and most simple
designs, $7 for lower back or navel, $10 for hand or foot (usually a
central motif, bracelet, and simple finger designs.) Mostly
everyone took the $5 designs and bracelets. I had out a tip jar and
made over $25 in tips each day. I sold bindi packs for around $3,
but I never sell too many of those. I made up henna kits with 25 g
of henna, a j-bottle, a little bit of cajuput oil, and
instructions/sample designs. I sold them for $15 and they sold
really well.
