It could be that some one individual has a nose that
: can do exactly what you think is not possible.
Meaning...whatever you or anyone believes to be real and possible,
the exception is there whether about terpineol or apples. That is an
observation and not critique of you.
: I wrote "I thought" meaning, that is what I *thought* you said. I
: also wrote "I understand know..." meaning I understand what was
: written. I didn't understand before- that is what you get via
: internet. Inflections of speech and clarifications just don't come
: easy. Sorry for taking it so incorrectly.
: I never said such was impossible. As easily legible from the quote
: my post below, I said "I was a bit surprised." I did not know that
: was possible. I never said it was impossible, nor should my
: that it is possible be taken as my presupposing its impossibility.
This is what I know. When discussions become like this, we are
talking at and not with. I don't want to do that. When we are
missing each other's meanings in such a was as I don't think is
necessary, it might be more important to individually understand what
caused it than it is to continue with it.
My intent in this thread was to put out a question and gather some
information from responses. Your intent in responding was to provide
information. I accomplished what I set out to do. You accomplished
what you set out to do. But somehow it doesnt feel like that is all
that happened. If it matters, we will both look into the nature of
and reason for the "other thing" that was happening here and know it
