I know the struggle you are going through and, I know this sounds
trite, but it does take practice! I use j-bottles and had to go
through the same learning curve. I have tried many other methods but
they are all equally difficult and waste henna, which I didn't like.

You are on the nose with using the bottle to suck the paste in. You
may have to firmly tap the bottle on the table to get the henna to
fall farther down into the bottle and then continue squeezing from
the baggie into the bottle while sucking with the bottle. Sometimes
the bottle wants to spit and not suck (OY!) in which case you will
have to use your fingers to get it back into the bottle.

It may seem like it will take forever the first few times, but you
will eventually get quick at it. I can fill a bottle in about 30
seconds, which is not the speed of sound, but it's not painfully slow
either. Stick with it!
