My sari collection

They are gorgeous.. but if you keep a close watch, you'll find
yourself able to snag them for SUPREME prices. I've gotten to be a
bit of a snob so I try to only buy silk or a silk/cotton blend. When
I first started looking at sari's on ebay some years ago I was
quickly outbid and got caught up in a few bidding wars. Now though, I
just cruise through casual like and I've picked up some nice ones. If
you consider that plain undecorated silk sells for at least $10 a
yard, paying $50 for a decorated, embroidered lush and colourful for
6 yards isn't too bad. But it is an expense. Now, when I see people
selling them for $200 for a fairly plain silk sari, I laugh. They are
popular now. I can't wait until this style fades and I can get
everything that I've always loved for 75% off!! Me, I just decided
that sari's are one of the things I collect. =) You can always spend
more when its for a "collection." Right?
