: Well. Today my husband gets into work and finds out that the
smaller
: half of his usual route (he's a courier) has been assigned to
someone
: else. This reduces our income by like 40%, which cuts out things
: like food and laundry. Not so good.
: We've been talking for quite a while about going on family
walkabout
: and following the event/Renn Faire circuit around the country. If
we
: made the sort of money we've been making here, we wouldn't get food
: or laundry that way, either, but it sounds like the rest of the
: country is far more profitable. I understand most of the larger
: Faires have exclusive vendors, so we likely couldn't get into those
: by ourselves, but I'm perfectly happy to work under someone else's
: aegis.
: So, I guess I'm just looking for work. Have henna, will travel!

I don't know if this will help your situation any, but...
We're having our Ren. faire this weekend, 10-6 saturday and 12-6
sunday...I'm in northwestern alabama...it isn't a huge ren. faire or
anything, and my friend is already doing a henna booth, though I have
no idea where you are so I doubt you'd be able to make it anyway. I
heard dallas tx has a HUGE ren faire, and atlanta has a permanent
grounds for theirs as well, plus it's more commericialized, etc. Hope
your problem improves...my mom and I will probably be in a similar
situation later this year...
