Hi anne, Ive done quite a few torso pieces. I dont know if you use
alot of sugar directly in the henna but if so its a big help no need
for lemon sugar then. I do the front first chat with the customer
and then dry them completely with the hairdryer, then steam once then
redry. We usually get some food then and when they are done eating
we flip and do the whole backside. Honestly it took me a minimum of
2-3 hours per side. They usually fall asleep on me after they eat
and while i am doing their back. If doing bolder designs obviously
it would take less time than that. I have always had great results.
After their backsides are done then i wrap almost mummy style in
toilet paper and secure with tape. Have them put their clothes on
over this. You may have to help them. The results are fantastic
though. you can see some of my larger pieces in the museum portion
of the link below. Do it anne, You will be estatic by the time it
all comes out!
