: I've never heard of these before, but I guess it's not too
: surprising. Anyone have any info about them?

I've tried them, and I've seen them in action. They don't work very
well with actual henna. I saw Rajasthani women at the Folklife
festival use them with some sort of ink - it smelled like dental
anaesthetic, went on a dark reddish-brown and dried to the same
color. The "ink" was in a stamp-pad like form, there was shredded
fabric or something in it to hold the ink.
Someone brought some by at Sirius Rising a few years ago; Catherine
played with them a bit, and they worked much better with vermillion
than with henna.

They are made the same way as fabric-printing blocks, so there a
plenty of fun uses for them! (I never thought to use them on walls
though!)
