: A friend of mine has a tattoo of his wife's name in a 'ribbon' over a
: rose on his forearm. Well, his soon-to-be EX-wife. I was thinking
: of offering to henna over the name to hopefully 'obscure' it
: somehow. Do you think that would work? I don't want to see him
: going off and doing a permanent over it and make a mess of his arm.
: This would at least be temporary.

Henna is translucent and won't cover the tattooed name.

70% of tattoos are eventually regretted and tattoo removal is the
biggest growth industry in dermatology/plastic surgery. The financial
expense of tattoo removal is ..... nasty. Its physically painful too.
The results I've seen of removals .... somewhere between poor and
dismal.
