The CD is a nice idea for consumers, but for the authors it screams
"here is the key to pirating this book". If it falls into ONE set of
unscrupulous hands, the authors may as well have given away their
rights and done all that work for nothing. That one person will walk
into Kinko's witht the disk, or take it to a publisher ... and its
gone. WE all know PPDBH slingers who would do that in a hearbeat....
their booths are jammed with stolen flash.

There are some publishers who just plain rip off original artists and
authors and have already done so in henna and tattoo patterns. I
wouldn't have the money to defend my authors in court against this
sort of disaster.

Can't do it. Sorry to dissapoint, but I've got to protect my author's
rights. I'll never be able to make theft impossible, but I've got to
make it difficult, and not just open the door wide for it.
