What's in some of those kohls is SCARY. Even "East Enders" had a segment where a woman's physician warned her off kohl. You probably got a similar, or same, kohl to one that I did ..... the box insisted it would improve my eyesight, etc, etc .... but it had #&^%* camphor in it!!!! Stung like all hell! Was it in a red-orange lipstick size container? Go to published medical and scientific journals for info every time. I'm sure the women do NOT know the lead can go straight through the tear ducts into their bodies, cross the placental barrier, and into their breast milk ... but it DOES! I thought it was important that two of the papers specifically investigated whether or not women "thought" kohl was safe for them and their children, and they absolutely believed it was safe .... but ITS NOT. Belief is not scientific proof.
