I put paste in a margarine tub in my carry on. I've been mixing in
Akron, terping in the terminal in Newark, then applying the night
after I get overseas. I keep the powder in the luggage that gets
checked through.

No one's looked at my henna paste in the carry-on, though everything
else got checked and my shoes had a metal piece so I had to take those
off and dear lord my bra sets off the security hit squad every damn
time. I've been suspected of sheltering whole terrorist sleeper cells
in my cleavage.

Last time, I had half a key of indigo (in packages labeled "black
henna") in my luggage .. and I think someone had a look at it. One of
the packages was opened ..... my skivvies were coated in green powder.
