That's how I travel with my cones. Wrapped ina paper towel and thewhole thing put in a plastic ziploc baggie. I also carry my henna
powder in little snack-sized ziplocs.
I took my henna kit to Germany 2 summers ago, and last summer managed
to take it in and out of Australia (although it's technically
probably not allowed since it's a vegetable product...I just told
them it was hair dye, and they let me through...) One raised eyebrow
at the kree kone in the security line a month after 9-11, but since
then, there's been no questions about my henna kit in my carry-on...
