I've done a couple outside flea markets. One was a huge tourist
destination in itself and was pretty well packed. We made back our
booth money but just barely, and only because we sold a veil to a
dance friend of ours who happened to show up that day.
Another was in a tourist area on a holiday weekend. We made the most
that weekend of any weekend I've ever done- but we spent so much
getting there and food and all that it was hardly worth it. On the
other hand, in general you rarely get to go on vacaion and get paid
for it, so it was an overall success.
I don't know how an indoor one would do, but please let us know as
it's something I'm considering. I think if you set yourself up as a
cool thing and got the teenagers in, you'd do well. $400 a month is
cheap.
