I found that the flea market I did for about 9 months was wonderful
for exposure and I got quite a few gigs from it including an agent
who books me for some events as well. Nice to be paid to show up
regardless of how many hennas get done and no barganing!

The others are right. You get alot of 'yeah, but how about taking a
buck off?' Hold your ground for the most part unless it is worth it
and they are buying alot of items say that the prices are firm.

If they make the 'face' just state that unlike some of the other
vendors that your goods are new and imported from the east.

Most get the point and will pay if they want it. It will pay off
some days and others it's just good advertising. Have flyers and
cards handy and decorate! I had a couch with chai and posters, sari,
bindis and statuary to add ambiance.
