group story telling...Posted by Alissa on April 25, 2003 at 13:39:56: In reply to: I still don't get it... posted by Anne Beltestad on April 25, 2003 at 12:20:16: ... is practically a lost art. Imagine a cyber-inspired fireside andan audience of 100s, where everyone can jump in and tell a part of the tale -- pick up where others left off, or start your own imaginative spin. Or throw caution to the wind and let your cyber self blow off steam and act silly. Cyber "parties" are not for everyone, it's true. But I personally believe that the collective energies we bring together translates into a lot of smiles and maybe some happiness to the posters, and to the folks who lurk/read along (the equivalent of the listeners in the cyber audience). And, it's a chance to talk about something besides henna (for a short while any ways ;) ) and get to know a some of the others sides of forum people out there (besides the typical "What's your favorite terp?" kinda talk). It's just for fun, and fellowship.
