At GL we paid schmoozers by the hour. I've also sometimes paid them a

Some questions to ask yourself re: a schmoozer (sorry, "booth b***h"
rubs me the wrong way)
Do they draw people in (instead of sitting talking with friends, etc)?
Can they answer all questions about henna without your help?
Are they outgoing and attractive (this DOES make a difference!)?
Can they be trusted with money? Keeping track of items sold, if any?
Do they write down everything you need them to (if you are splitting
work by artist, or keeping track of prices of designs)?

there are probably more - but my brain hurts from too much work.
