correction: Sirius 2000 or 2001?Posted by Anne Beltestad on May 11, 2003 at 16:03:53: In reply to: Re: I don't understand... posted by Catherine Cartwright-Jones on May 11, 2003 at 14:04:31: "Last I saw Kree using her cones, (I still have some saved that shegave me) they were shorter and had stiffer plastic, but they weren't rolled........ they appeared to me to be simply another variety of standard off-the-rack pastry bags, with standard off-the-rack pastry tips, though she also had some off-the-rack couplers so she could interchange tips. " The last time you saw Kree, as far as I know, was at Sirius 2001 here in NYC -not Sirius 2000, which I guess was at Brushwood? She wasn't using couplers then - just the regular Kree Kones. I think she was selling sets of them, but perhaps she gave you some to try out? I'm not trying to pick a fight, Catherine, I'm just trying to save people extra effort and wastes of time by telling them what works for me, and what I know works for Kree - and to correct Nick's, and Faery's, and your, misunderstandings on how these tools work. I'd trust your advice on Indian-style rolled cones if i ever wanted to use them, so it seems logical that you would trust the advice of those who specialize in making and using a different kind of tool than you're accustomed to. Not trying to tread on your toes, or make you get defensive, but there are some things other people *might just possibly* know a teensy bit more about, simply through experience. I'm just trying to help educate people on something I know quite a bit about. No big deal, right?
