If you have a 2nd person to do some henna that would be great but between you and your husband things should be covered. Have your husband work the line while you focus on hennaing people. Have multiple copies of the same book out for people to choose from while he answers questions. Husband takes their money and they wait for a turn, shouldn't have a line much longer than 3 or 4 people at an event with 20,000. The trick is to take the money first, that way the wait since you've got the $. At an average event we henna 1/2 to 1 1/2 percent of the festival goers. You are not pulling from a very wide pool of interested people, this is a specialized item so even though the attendants seems high you won't do more than a few hundred on an exceptional day. Drink plenty of water, have your cones wrapped and ready to go and don't forget sunscreen. Also, take about 50 bucks in change. You'll do fine, have fun and thank your husband over and over when the kids drop their snowcone on his foot for the 3rd time. Jessica : I'm applying for a one-day event that attracts 20-25,000 people. : It's a multicultural dance festival with an attached street fair. : I've never done a fair this large. I'll probably need more people. : Any thoughts on how many artists per expected eventgoer? : My husband will be there directing traffic and answering questions, : so that's taken care of at least. I think I'll use Kenzi's terrific : idea of issuing numbered stickers instead of having people wait in : line. Further suggestions are most welcome! : Thanks, : Lauren
