: Make a batch of terped paste from 100 gms powder + some extra powder
: just in case, rolled into cones

How large is this festival? You will never be able to use 100 grams of powder
by yourself. The only times I've needed that much were at events with 60,000
plus attendants per day and 3 or more girls working non-stop. I recommend
mixing 50 grams, that way you're comfortable you'll have plenty and it will
help you determine more closely what's left at the end of the event as to how
much you really used.

: I have 6 binders(planning 3 design books of 2 ea) & a master book(all
: designs for reference)
I highly recommend combining the pattern books so they are all identical. It
gets tiring having people ask all day if they are the same or not, it often just
creates confusion. Throw the patterns into binders and have 4-6 that are the
same and make sure you have your own book to work from.

: reciept book - does anyone use a cashbox? If not what do you use?
Keep your money in a purse around your neck or a fanny pack. People know
vendors have cash at festivals, it would be ashame if someone walked off with
your box of hard earned money.

: One main thing is what do you do for lighting when there's no ac/dc
: available?
If the event can't provide lighting at dusk we pack up and go home. If it's dark
you can't work. Besides, once it cools off and the fog rolls in it takes forever for
the paste to dry on customers.

: Can't think of anything else offhand, any imput will be appreicated!
Throw in a couple of washcloths and keep one on your lap to wipe any
messes and so customers can rest their hand on the cloth rather than just
your leg.

Good luck and have fun!
Jessica
