Strangely enough I get more business just having my website
out there and sitting back and waiting for people to call. With the
lazy method I get agencies calling me. This may be because
before the internet agencies had their records on an internal
database, but with the advent of the internet they aren't so
scrupulous about keeping up their own database, knowing they
can always go online to see what sites they bookmarked.
I would say that at least 75% of my henna gigs come to me
through the website and the rest is word of mouth/saw you at a
fair.
