Speaking as a confirmed non-child personPosted by Katzedecimal on July 14, 2003 at 00:04:37: In reply to: not at a loss for words.....very very long "nearly topic" rant posted by Willowhawk on July 12, 2003 at 22:49:50: Well, speaking as someone who is a definite non-child afficionado, I can state withauthority that those people are bee-atches >.< Your child was behaving in the normal manner of a three year old dropped into a strange, busy and senses-stimulating environment. I try to avoid kids whenever I can, but I still recognize the difference between a normal kid and a hyperactive one -- Judging Amy over there has obviously never encountered a *genuinely* ADD child and yes, where the heck does she get off giving parental advice when she stuffed her own offspring into fostercare?! Frankly, I feel sorry for these people's children (grown and otherwise); who knows what's been done to their psyches? Probably enough to keep a couple of shrinks in business for the next ten years >.< Sheesh, people like that give the rest of us non-kid people a bad name >.< Kudos for taking your kids, for sticking up for them, for trying your best and for sticking it out as long as you did. Is mise le meas mor -==- Katzedecimal
