I can relate....I got the same exact response for a local art fair.
What I plan on doing next year is entering the art fair as an artist
by their terms and doing henna while I'm sitting there. You see
these artists at art fairs just sitting in their director's chairs,
looking bored. I figure, I'll attract a lot of attention to my
booth by being active....and maybe the art show organizers will
finally "get it" about how cool henna is. You should try to set up
selling your Temeri Balls and other things you make. Don't tell
them you're doing henna.
I feel for ya. I wanted to seriously rip someone's head off when I
got the "your type of work doesn't fit in with our event" letter.
