I don't want them to think : that's all there is to henna. I believe Anne refers to it as McMehndi and I call it "tattoo flash for cash". It's not an artform and degrades the traditional and cultural beauty of mehendi...in my stubborn opinion. : Is it worth writing them back? I think I'm going to, and I'll let : you know what they say. I would write them back and politely (or maybe not-so-politely) explain this art to them. Maybe they are of the opinion that it's not art because it's temporary. There's so many area's to touch on...henna in Indian/Persian artwork; artistic ability to create a design; knowledge of tradition/culture; knowledge of mixing paste/applying paste/etc; uses on cloth/wood...and on and on. I ended up on a waiting list for a big art fair this year...only because there is another mehendi artist there. Willowhawk
