When I lived in France, I had a friend from Nepal. He said that he
would eat and drink with whomever he chose, however his mother was
very careful about things like that. The caste system was alive and
well in this mountain village.

The whole situation I'm in really bugs me because of her nasty
attitude. If she had made the offer and just let me say that I
couldn't do it at that price, it would be fine. but she had to go
and accuse me of trying to lay some bullshit on her about the price
of my henna and bow I don't even feel like patronizing her store
anymore. How the heck am I supposed to buy samosas now?
