If I were you, or should I say if you were me, I'd do the bride, andtry to hook up the corporate gig for someone else. I know that you've
promised the bride a discount, and the corp. full price, but it is a
kind thing to do, to help the bride have a good wedding. You might
get some better deals out of it too, being that you bent yourself
around their schedule change. I am a believer in karma and live with
a sort of Zen attitude, so you never know, this might bring about
wome very welcome changes in your life.
Side note story.... I had plans to be in the next town from where I
was living. HAD TO be there on time, but for every silly reason
possible, couldn't get out of the house. Dog stole shoes, bird
wouldn't go in her house, son wouldn't calm down or leave without his
treat.....and blessed be Great Spirit, if I had been on time, I would
have been cought in the crossfire of a violent bank robbery that was
taking place at the intersection that I would have been at, had I
been on time.
Count your blessings, whichever choice you finally make.
About the payment, can you ask the accounting dept. to at least
partially pay you until they get all straightened out?
