My friendly local household legal expert says there really isn't any
waiver anywhere that would stand up in court for longer than it would
take the prosecution to blow their nose on it. If you hurt someone
... you can get whacked. Nobody can sign away their right to not be
injured. Waivers DO make people feel better, get them to pay
attention for a few minutes to what's going on, and deter some future
whining. They do indicate that the provider of *whatever* is
attempting to take action to avoid "forseeable harm" and to give
people informed consent. My Ozzfest waiver is in the link below ....
