The cheapest weight down method I ever saw was tying on gallon milk
jugs filled with water at the site.

What works for Ohio may not work elsewhere. We have lots of grass,
(when there is asphalt, its usually cracked up by freeze/thaw so you
can stake into it) plenty of water, tornadoes, high winds, hail,
torrential rain, floods (yes, I've had 3 feet of water rage through a
booth) ... and no pretentions of looking classy. (with that sort of
nonsense, maintaining a classy white booth would be as silly as
wearing a wedding dress to a spaghetti slinging contest)

Oh ... once my husband did lose a booth .. he was on asphalt in New
Jersey, I think .... and there was an unexpected microburst prior to a
storm. Flattened the sucker like an elephant landed on it. Still ....
just replaced conduit and went back at it the next day.
