Here in the west, we get mostly asphalt or cement. Not many ren faires, and no
colonial faires, whatever they may be. fees are also very high for most events, and
competition is tough too. So the better the booth looks, the more moms will be
willing to let their children come in and have henna.
We have lots of street/craft faires.
I made pvc pipes filled with cement. large diameter and they just bungee cord to the
legs, yes they are heavy, but that is the main idea, and water in a jug just won't do
the job. I can only carry one pipe at the time, but since we started using those we
have not had any booths escape to the heavens.
