I'm in Florida, so my winter is not the sameas : everyone else's. Henna still does pretty well here in the winter, : but I augment my income by selling other stuff at my booth. With : holidays around the corner, henna kits would sell fairly well. : : Erika I generally go for make an appointment and try to squeeze as many into one day as possible. UK weather sucks pretty much most of the year!!! and i generally am closed between November-January - unless i get a real urge to go watch the rain+seagulls! However i have found that you can use the cold to your advantage....nice drinks machine, heaters and also steaming for that extra henna staining works wonders....i can fill the studio full of people and have it like a henna sauna!! Believe me closing in the UK for only 3 months is pretty good going....even in the months Feb-May it can be pretty cold!! We have a good framing process to make sure clothes dont touch the design and 2+ heaters dotted around the studio to make it cosy....free tea/coffee also gets em! I would have thought that Florida would be a breeze compared to this though ;)
