In my opinion, henna is not supposed to look like tattoos,
or "neotribal trash" (although I love Alex's Spellstone work!), and
so on. I define henna just as much by what it is not, as what it
is. But I realize that other people have different perceptions than
I do, so I have to work along with that.

I guess that for me, the vital distinction between henna arts
and "flash for cash" comes down to the appreciation factor.
