: : Can any one in UK tell me how much a professional henna artist
should
: : charge for this work?

: Hi Ranj
:
: I am in the Northwest UK not far from Liverpool but we work
festivals all over
: the UK. I would probably be with Amira on this and charge around
£20 - £25.
:
: I love that type of work but i am CRAP at it. I wish i could do
more. Would you
: mind if i copied it onto myself just to give me practice etc. All
i get called for
: probably similar to Mark AKA hennaboy is modern contemporary stuff
like
: dragons, flowers, chinese symbols etc so i really don't get much
mumbi
: practice.
:
: As i said i wish i could do that type of work
:
: Regards

: Samantha

I got around this by basically putting mehndi in their faces. Ive
done more this year in the studio than any other.

But yes modern henna still out guns traditional....

But i wouldnt do that for less than £45 basically cos time is money
and im way to busy to do that during the day.

I often turn away people who want mehndi in favour of modern
henna....i ask them to come back later....say after 7pm....why? cos
the studio is quieter then and doing quality mehndi at that time
will earn you more....he crowd gathers they are v impressed and they
will wait.
