There used to be one crafts festival organization here, whose initials
were the same as "Onions Always Cause Gas". Signing on with them was
the fastest way know to drive a florishing arts business into
destitution. The organizer used to stroll through the festival where
over 100 - 200 artist/craftsmen would be lined up, each having shelled
out about $500 - $1000 a pop, each of whom wondered if they'd even
make gas money to get home. Once this strolling organizer was heard
to remark "Ahhhhhhh does't this remind you of a Moroccan Souq?" And
the nearby craftsman muttered "But in a souq, I could get your throat
cut for $10 American".
