house fee and tip outPosted by Catherine Cartwright-Jones on December 8, 2003 at 14:38:24: In reply to: I need advice on hiring people...Does this sound like a fair deal? posted by Erika on December 8, 2003 at 14:21:44: I favor the "house fee" and "tip out" system used by most strip clubs.Everyone who comes to work pays "house fee". You have to figure out what that's going to be, but if you have 4 artists, all your expenses should be met by tht total of the "house fees". Whether you collect it when they show up, or when they leave, is your decision. Then, each person pockets what the clients pay them. That means its each artist's judgement to work harder, faster, slower, or work a price up or down with a client. At the end of the day, everyone pays "tip out" to the booth bitch (and anyone else you've got like sugar girl or gopher). The booth bitch exlained and hustled customers all day, and answered all the quesitons and worked as "idiot sieve". I like to pay my best bitch (The Fabulous Gwyn) at least 25% of my take, becuase I work triple fast if I don't have to deal with questions. If its a heavy gig, I don't want to do anything but sling ... no thinking, no talking, just sling on raw flesh as fast as I can go. At the end of the day, the person who got the most bucks takes the rest out to dinner.
