Advice for events like these...so you dont' lose your mind and start barking and foaming at the moutPosted by Kenzi on February 25, 2004 at 20:06:58: In reply to: Gryphoemia code 10 posted by Kimm Moon on February 25, 2004 at 16:20:33: I have found that for events like these where you have a lot of girls(sometimes with a lot of boys) and you are there to do as many as you can, you have to have different rules. 1. keep a list - best if you give everyone a numbered sticker or ticket, and you call out numbers (kids can trick you and say, "yeah, my name is Holly") - get one of the busybody kids to help you by calling out numbers for you 2. make a separate book of simple designs - I have a book of $20 and under designs for this purpose alone; I went through my usual book and cut and pasted under $20 designs and then made a bunch of copies and bound them 3. don't take smudges - remind the kids to be very very very careful because you won't have time to fix smudges AND henna everyone else 4. bring an assitant - they can do the name/number list, aftercare, warnings, crowd control, adult control 5. make sure you eat and drink before the gig so that your blood sugar levels are good - do whatever else you need to maintain a good mood 6. if you find yourself getting too upset take a break...they are allowed so take one, if only to get a drink or a breath of fresh air
