I think you're probably right- most brown colors contain some
concentration or form of PPD. I did some checking in the drugstore
once to satisfy my curiosity, and every box of brown and dark brown
colors i checked had PPD in it. And even if they didn't, there are
all sorts of other nasties in there... no reason to put *any* kind of
chemical hair dye on skin!
