Don't open the door to the study and begin reading.
Take down a musical instrument."

what music would you like today?

Loreena McKennitt "The Book Of Secrets"
I love listening to this CD while applying henna because of the… mystical/spiritual atmosphere it creates. Kind of makes you feel like it’s the 1500’s again and your doing Henna for religious ceremonies. Very Celtic music.
Loreena McKennitt "The Mask and Mirror"
This has got to be one of my all time favorite CD’s. Again, this CD gives off that spiritual and mystical feeling. I listen to this CD when designing Henna. My favorite song from this CD is “The Mystic’s Dream”. I strongly suggest if anyone hasn’t heard this song, GO GET IT! Listen to it now! It’s just amazing!
Various Artists "Moroccan Spirit"
This is a wonderful CD. Really gets you in the mood for henna… it’s very “Moroccan” and “Arabic”. Beautiful melodies to relax to! I like to listen to this CD while applying Henna because it helps to keep me focused and relaxed.
Phil Thornton & Hossam Ramzy "Immortal Egypt"
This is a special CD to me because I am so utterly in love with all things Egyptian. This is a very relaxing CD as well. Beautiful instrumental work. You really can picture yourself sitting around a fire in the deserts of Egypt watching belly dancing! I just love it. I listen to this while applying Henna, and also for inspiration on Henna designs.
Eric Serra "The Fifth Element" Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Yes, yes, I know… it’s from a movie. But it’s awesome!! The Egyptian/Arabic instrumental music on this is amazing!! There is about 2-3 songs that don’t fit well with Henna… but the rest is great! For those who haven’t seen the movie, you HAVE to hear this music!
