All henna artists wishing to be included in the Henna Page Artist Listings are required to agree to and abide by the following professional standards and business practices. Professional
Standards 1. Work only in natural henna. 2. Not use PPD or any other toxic additives in any amount in any of their henna work. 3. Disclose, on request, all ingredients in their henna formulas. Business Practices
1. Have a Website available to the public, displaying photographs of their work and contact information. We do not list blogs, Facebook pages, Myspace pages, or similar social media sites as artist business listings. 2. Have a valid e-mail address for use by the public to contact them regarding their business. 3. Display, publish, offer for sale or otherwise distribute only their own copyrighted artwork, photographs, designs, text or other printed manufactured or electronically published material, material legitimately purchased for purpose of resale, or material on which they have secured the copyright holder’s permission for display or distribution. 4. Use no part of any other individual’s, group’s, or other business entity’s name, trademark or other identifying image or text as part of their own physical or electronic publications without the express written permission of the owner or original user of the identifying name or image, including use as part of a Website name or URI. 5. Never send unsolicited commercial e-mail, or make excessive unsolicited commercial posts or disruptive posts to any newsgroup, Internet forum or list, or continue to make such posts after being requested to cease by the forum, group or list manager. 6. The artist website must only advertise the artist's henna services and services related to henna, and not advertise or sell any other items. Monetized sites with outside advertising are not permitted. Any listed artist found to be in violation of any of these standards will be immediately excluded without refund from the Henna Page Artist Listings until the artist can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the site manager that the violation has been corrected. Optional: do you want your street address and phone number listed? A text ad is $10. This is a one time fee. Any time you want information updated, the service fee is $10. A banner ad is $20. This is a one time fee. Any time you want the information or banner changed, the service fee is $10. Banner size is 500 x 125px. We will contact you each January and ask if you want your ad the same, changed, or withdrawn. You will only be charged if you want something changed.
