I have to agree with the heat part. I hennaed my son and nephew and
wrapped it up. 30 minutes later they returned inside with the wrap
all tore up and henna hanging on to it. So I took it all off and they
had a very light orange stain. They went back out to play (90
something degree day) and camped out. The next day they both had a
nice brown stain. I was shocked. But I think it had something to do
with the how hot and humid it was that evening.
