Have you tried multiple applications? The center/end part of my big
toenails don't take dye very well, part of it is that I curl my toes
under all the time (while sitting or standing) and it puts a lot of
pressure *exactly* in the area that doesn't stain well. My
fingernails do the same thing, but worse. I do have very thin and
bendy nails which is probably the problem! I can get decent results
with several applications of henna (and heat), but the center is
always a bit lighter. :-(
And ditto to the nail polish thing, it does wreck havoc with your
nails ability to hold henna!
