: Has anyone tried growing the henna plant in greenhouse in USA? How : about buying the leaves and grinding them yourself? I currently have : two different kits sitting on my kitchen table waiting to be used & : tested. One is Carine Fabius Earth Henna body painting kit and one is : simply Mehndi Mud. Has anyone tried either of these? I want to stay : as close to "Pure Henna" as possible. I also make my own bindis if : anyone is interested. you just need to use a tiny drop of eyelash : adheasive (water base comes off). I use the Earth Henna Kits sometimes when I'm a little too busy to mix my own recipe. It spoils me, though. Every time I use it, I consider not going back to my own mix. It goes on smooth, dries fast, you don't have to lemon/sugar it. It stains DARKER than my own recipe, though the staying power is not qutie as good. You get SEVERAL deisgns out of those little bottles, and the amount of stuff I have to cart around to appointments is cut down to a quarter. If you want a rundown of the ingredients, call Carine Fabius at the 800 number on the insructions in the box. When I was concerned about the preservatives in her henna, she quelled my fears about them. Good luck, Carrie
