A recipe with Glycerine?

Somewhere through the grape vine I have caught wind of a henna recipe
using Glycerine, Chestnut Bark, Greenheaut (sp?) and a Soliculant
powder. Anybody else hear of such a thing? Does anybody know what
these things are and where you can get them?
I have heard this combo makes a black stain that lasts quite a while
and it doesn't burn.
I've read all over this page about how black is bad and I know I
shouldn't listen to rumors. But any help I can get about this recipe
or even just the individual items would be greatly appreciated.
