: That's a very good idea. Thanks! : I've noticed you have many good ideas, Anon, so why are you anonymous? : Your name isn't actually Anon, is it? No - sorry, but I've been getting a lot of unsolicited and objectionable e-mail (particularly advertising sex with underage women!) and until I find out how my e-mail address got circulated, I'm trying to avoid further potential exposure. My name & e-mail address will become known to the more regular participants (not a problem) when I e-mail privately or send Jeremy a check, but I don't want them posted. Besides, "anon" also means "right away". I enjoy double meanings. :-) : I bet the two-toned effect would make flowers vines, & such look very : 3-dimensional, like there were some in the background. I'll let you : know if I try it. I've done it with some celtic knotwork in a two-strand design. Well, okay, first I used a bit of food color (blue) on the *other* strand so I wouldn't goof, then used a brief henna application on the one I wanted to be colored. It wasn't as satisfactory as I would have liked (the blue actually was more interesting), but it was a good proof of concept and I think it has potential. The problem is that you have to be very neat and deliberate, or else it just looks like a mistake or "bleeding" of color. I tried using a brief second application in dots - something like "half-tone" - and I think this is a good way to go.
