Mordants bite

Nope.

Mordants come from the word "to bite". Mordants are things you soak
fiber in to half chew it up, to make the dye bind better. That's like
stripping your hair before you dye it..... Strictly speaking, we don't
mordant our skin, unless we're adding gasoline, kerosene or benzine to
the mix. These work...but.... heeeyukkk.

Clove has some very useful tannins that add to the hennotannins:
clove has gallotannic acid. Tea and coffee have tannins. Oak gall has
gallotannins too, so does cutch and betel, and the accacia thing
that's added in India. They're not mordants. They're more dyes.

I still have no improvement with eucalyptus oil. Some eucalyptus
species have tannins. ?
