Oh, that is so interesting. This woman was not Indian; I wonder if
she knew of these meanings, or if she was just decorating. The
symbolism makes them an even more beautiful way to decorate a
mother/baby room. (Maybe she was trying to avert our evil needles.)
I wish I had learned this before she was discharged so I could have
asked what they meant to her. Thanks for the rant.
