From the description, I think they're using some variation on Temptu
or lac, or alta paints. Temptu, lac, and the like are harmless, they
look good, lac and alta paints are certainly traditional ... but
they're certainly not henna (lawsonia inermis). I guess the word
henna is going to stretch like a giant bungee cord around all sorts of
body art for a while.
