I use henna from Castle Art. I have always gotten great, fresh powder
with wonderful dying results. I initially tried buying henna in a
local Indian shop, but it was extremely old. I'd say unless the store
sells henna often, there is no way to tell how long it's been sitting
on the shelves.Henna DOES have a shelf life.
Anyway, I would recommend calling Castle Art. Also, Amy @Castle Art
is extremely nice to deal with and I feel that her prices are very
reasonable.
