Neutral henna coats the hair without adding color. It brings out
natural highlights and adds body. If you have dry hair, try adding
yogurt or olive oil to the mix. I used it for a long time, until I
got brave enough to go red.

Not sure if it would react with the metals and chemicals in a
commercial dye or perm...probably wouldn't advise using henna in those
cases.
