: : Where can I purchase clear henna?

: Sounds to me like you're referring to neutral henna that is used on
: hair to condition and make your hair shiny. You should be able to
: get neutral henna at any health food store that sells hair products.
: The brand that comes to mind has tropical-themed artwork on the
: square boxes. I think that Rainbow is the brand. There are several
: however.

And does it really condition without any color? Is it OK for really
fried hair? I gave a friend some regular (red) henna for her fried
hair, but then learned that this was not a good idea & might turn it
orange or even greenish (luckily, I heard this before she used it).
My hair could also use some help, but I don't look good with red hair.
Neutral henna might be a good solution for us. Has anyone else used
it on hair with success & without color change??
