If you go back on this forum you will see many results and answers
reguarding camphor. It is a stong, dangerous essential oil and should
be used sparingly. The best results are to put some in your lemmon
sugar solutin for dabbing. If you are going to put it in your
paste,make sure it is just a small batch of henna, as it tends to make
the acids in the henna accelerate, giving your henna not so long of a
shelf life. It brings excellent dark color results fast, but the
designs tend to fade quicker also, which is just fine for some people.
I haven't tried just camphor because of its adverse affects on the
skin if there is too much, I developed a rash from using it straight
on my skin for a prep and then also in my paste. It also kind of ate
up my design as well.You might want to try just camphor spirits,
actually, that was going to be my next test. Its deluted with alcohol.
